About the Author
Born French, Unknown Hipster early moved to New York to become a painter, a poet, or whichever position was available on the Art scene. Once a lead tambourin for « Uneven dusk », it’s unclear what became his main occupation after the band quickly broke-up. All can be said is that Unknown frequently appears at Fashionable and Cultural events without being necessarily on the list.
The Unknown Hipster blog started in April 2009, and a book, “The Unknown Hispter Diaries” will be published by August Editions Editions, available November 2012.

Ah Ah Ah, je vous adore! Quel talent!
Barbara
love!
I love your work, can I say that without sounding stupid? Yes because I’m not saying it, I’m typing it!.
If you don’t mind me asking, are you the Dude?. Also exactly how is an unknown granted entry to these stiletto crazed events? Do you push your way through, or simply glide? If the answer is B, then I could happily tag along.
So glad I stumbled upon your blog (Thanks, Garance)! Keep sharing, unknown hipster. I’m definitely intrigued.
I LOVE YOUR WORK!!! 😀
Great blog!!
its nice to see people who DRAW instead of photograph for a change! Kepp it up! Don’t you ever dare lose momentum! (:〈

Bonjour,
I have a french name, but I am from The Netherlands.
Today I discovered your site and I must say…I LOVE IT.
Keep on doing what you´re doing and you´ll become a FAMOUSHIPSTER one day.
Au revoir!!
p.s. You look like SEBASTIEN TELLIER……..
Dr. Mr. Unknown,
A little fan mail from Cairo 😉 Just stumbled across your blog and must say, hurrah for incognito-plaid-wearing-poet-musician-artists with the panache to pull off getting into events without being on lists! Your sketches are so amusing and endearing. Good luck with your blog, it’s already starting off so beautifully.

Dear Unknown,
So, you are a bearded man ?
Just discover your blog, as good as your print work ! What is really cool is that we don’t have to wait too much to appreciate your stories now !
Must have !
A non-exhibitionist, curious hipster is hard to find.
C’est traumatisant, attendre les mises-a-jour.

Please update more often…you are addictive
Really enjoy your style sense. Nice writing as well. Keep up the terrific blog.

Your blog is well-executed & very witty..I love this character…Your new book is wickedly funny…can’t put it down. Except to go to earn a living, that is..
Quite possibly- you are my favorite fashion find in twenty years!
love the blog.
your drawings are a joy!
Dear …,
I think we might be brothers… someone lost you in the nursery and we never heard from you again. Until now!
I know it’s shocking but it can be true! Mom says that your name is Peter!
Do you want to know how I know it is you? We share one talent… I also
never have invitations!
Great job! 🙂
You are just the funniest guy ever.
Thanks for the puff of lightness into my life. As I have somehow been sucked into this vortex.
Fourteen years in New York and now exiled to Sydney.
And nominally in fashion.
I must have done something hellish in my last life too.
Regards.
ahaha.
why do you need a location to become a type of person as “poet”? you were already all things. the move to ny is a leaf falling in the fall.
I think we just found a picture of the Unkwnown Hipster, or maybe a look-alike who met him during his many travels ? http://stockholmstreetstyle.feber.se/art/165201/christian/
It seems like this dude is wearing an Indian tie that I left behind me at a Kings of Convenience concert in Stockholm.
WOW! I really don’t know how I ended up here, but I’m happy!
Your drawings look so effortless, I really envy you 😉
Now I’m a follower.

Just put your blog in formol. Value doubled already.
I think your “style guy” drawing of the guy in silk long underwear is permanently ingrained in my brain, or do I have the wrong guy?
I’m in love with your well crafted sentences.
Er, I’ve posted about mistaking Sebastien Tellier for YOU on StyleScanner.com. today.
Sorry!

love the blog, especially the legs of all your drawings…:)
I was so surprised to read about Sophie Calle and Marguerite Duras in the same sentence that I had to tell you WOW. I used to love them separatly, but that was before you made the connection.
Very stylish – thanks for the inspiration 🙂
You are hilarious! Are you on twitter?
Mr. Delhomme, I prefer your drawings to my writings on the Perrotin Gallery opening in NYC. They are so droll. Thanks for your gentle rendering.
